You can't tell, but this frog is about half the size of my pinky finger nail. When they hopped away from our feet we thought they were little bugs.
The deity of Battambang.
Our pal Mr. Chin Chin driving us around.
Bamboo train! That little thing rocketed down some pretty beat up tracks at about 25km/h (or possibly at 40km/h which is what it felt like). There we met the guy behind us who is an Aussie named Chris who happened to be staying at our guesthouse. We're all super pals now.
A present made for us by some kids.
There is only one track for the bamboo trains, so when you run into another train the two drivers take the one with the lighter load apart, move it around, and put it back together. The whole process takes about 45 seconds.
Amazing!
Oh, and if anyone was wondering, Simon definitely doesn't have malaria. We checked three times.
I love all these cows! They are delicious. Just kidding?
We went up there.
5 million bats heading out for the night.
You could see them going all the way off down the road in that same mass.
And now we're here, still alive.
We wish we could ride on that little train! It would be worth eating rice every day!! We would even eat those cows. But we are not sad we missed the molting, jolting spider!! What kind of bats were they? We miss you and can't wait to hear about your trip. Take care and pray (take advantage of all the Gods there)
